Spiromite celebrates the patterns of nature, found in things both big and small throughout time. Some of the first organisms that existed on earth were small invertebrates with shells, many of them featuring a spiral shape. Our galaxy is a giant spiral, swirling around a massive center. Spirals were a symbol of growth and evolution throughout the ancient world, seen painted and carved on stone. Mathematicians such as Leonardo Fibonacci studied them in search of clues to the order of nature. Our very DNA is a spiral!

We all are part of the pattern that forms the rich tapestry of this universe, and if we take a moment to observe and listen, we just may find better harmony with our thoughts and the connections (from the tiny to the massive) that bind us all together. I hope in this pin you will be reminded that even the smallest of things can tell great stories, and tiny alterations can lead to big change. 1.5" wide. Limited Editions: "Fossil" Antique Copper LE10, Rainbow Metal LE 30, Copper LE 40, Satin Gold 70
